The new Audi RS A6 Avant is here, the official press photos show it in red colour with aggressive looks. Under the bonnet, the new A6 Avant is equipped with a  4.0 litre TFSI V8 Audi engine with two twin-scroll turbochargers. It offers 560 horsepower and 517 lb-ft of torque.     The torque can be achieved at just 1,750 rpm. It has a top speed of 155mph and can do a 0-62mph sprint with load on-board in just 3.9 seconds (faster than a Ferrari). The top speed for the versions fitted with the Dynamic package are capable of returning  top speed of 174 mph and the ones fitted with Dynamic Plus package can go to 190 mph. The new model of the A6 Avant is 220 pounds lighter than its predecessor. Features like engine start/stop and cylinder deactivation  combine to return 24mpg of fuel economy which is 40% improvement. The engine is mated with an 8-speed tiptronic gearbox with revised shift times and a long 8th gear ratio to increase motorway mileage. It has been fitted with adaptive air suspension to keep the ride very comfortable while the Quattro system delivers a storm of performance. There many optional extras on offer like sport suspension, Dynamic Ride Control and steering, carbon fiber brakes and a sport exhaust. Inside the cabin, black is the theme with hints of red and white. It boasts a huge boot that make the A6 Avant a practical car. The price starts from £70,000.
