It is available in range of engines; however Audi A4 diesel engines are more economical than petrol, Audi’s SE 2.0 TDIe engine is a powerful and economical addition, it has fuel economy of 61MPG while the CO2 emissions are at 112gm/km. It is an environment friendly addition, the engine size is 1968CC and it accelerates form0 to 62 miles in only 9.5 seconds and can gain the top speed of 134 miles per hour, which means it is reliably quick.     The Audi 2.0 TDI 177s is another fuel economical diesel engine empowering the A4 model  which is very similar to 2.0litre TDIe but has different configuration, it has higher CO2 emissions than its predecessor but the engine displacement is same 1968CC and it emits CO2 of 120gm/km. It has four cylinder layout, all the cylinders are inline and the head has 16 valves with the common rail fuel delivery. It produces 177hp and the torque of 380Nm at 1750rpm. This engine is a bit quicker than 2.0litre TDIe, it accelerates from 0 to 62mph just in 8.2 seconds and the top speed of the car with this engine is 143miles per hour. The economy rates are 68.9Mpg in the urban areas.  Audi A4 is very smooth and powerful while driving with 2.0litre TDIe and 2.0litre TDI177s, it makes the car bit expensive but the job of the engine is more reliable than the cost.
