The most powerful in the current Audi A1 range is the 182bhp 1.4 TFSI Black Edition. The limited Audi A1 Quattro is   40 percent ahead in bhp and the amount of torque. The Audi Quattro is hand built and is limited to 333 left-handed units. Under the bonnet the Audi A1 engine powering the Quattro is the same EA113 that powers the Volkswagen Scirocco R and Audi TTS.  Apart from the bodyshell, there are very few things in common with standard A1s. It is equipped with a revised six–speed manual gearbox, rear anti-roll bar, multi-link suspension and beefier brakes.

It does 0-62 in just 5.2 seconds and has a top speed of 152mph. The engine is 252bhp and generates 258lb ft of torque at 2500-4500rpm. But all this performance doesn’t come cheap. At £41,035, the Quattro costs almost twice than the A1 Black Edition. However, the Quattro comes with a plenty of standard equipment, Xenon headlamps, automatic lights and wipers, Bose stereo, rear parking sensors, climate control, cruise control and an interior lighting package are all included.

It wouldn’t be easier to get your hands on one even if you are not worried about the hefty price tag as there were only 17 units allocated for the UK market and the chances of one being available are fairly low.
