Audi A3 clubsport Quattro Concept

Audi A3 is supposed to be a reasonably priced hatchback and with its S versions, gives amazing performance but doesn’t upset the models higher up in the range. This is not the case with A3 Clubsport Quattro as it is from a different breed. This one of a kind A3 Clubsport Quattro has laid off the small engine in favour of the 2.5-litre five cylinder unit found in the TT RS. This means that the output is a colossal 525bhp and 443lb/ft of torque. The Audi S3, in comparison, has a mere 296bhp, a big gap of 229bhp. This increased power is the result of a bigger turbo charger, beefier intake and exhaust system and extensive modifications. The benchmark 0-62 mph takes 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 193mph which makes it 3mph faster than a RS6. The engine is mated to a seven-speed S tronic automatic gearbox and a launch control system which makes it even more fun. You get four-wheel drive, 21-inch alloys, 380mm carbon fibre disc brakes, aluminium front suspension, 10mm ride height drop and stiffer adjustable springs and dampers. The interior doesn’t disappoint either as it gets bucket seats, brushed aluminium and black Alcantara, stainless steel pedals and footrest as well as the Connect  Infotainment system. It's a one-off concept built for the upcoming annual Worthersee Meeting, an event that allows VW, Audi and Skoda enthusiasts unfettered access to the most tweaked VAG Group cars on earth. Another amazing concept is the Audi TT Hybrid revealed in April 2014 which can hit 0-62mph in 5.2 seconds and still attain 148.6mpg.
