Audi A5 engine has punchy and bustling nature

There's a good selection of Audi A5 engines available so Audi A5 performance certainly depends on the model. The doorway level for power generation presents the 1.8 TFSI which offers inspiring velocity allowing for its fairly small size - credit goes to the turbocharger. It conveys 170 bhp along with a benchmark 0-62 mph sprint time of 8.4 seconds and it is a delight to drive and has an enthusiastic personality. The A5  3.2 FSI V6 units with 265 bhp suits the A5 well, it's swift and has a good temperament, making it pleasant to use, in addition it sounds charming. The other petrol is the rumbling 4.2 litre V8 that comes in the S5 trims.   The diesel units are similarly as good, predominantly the 3.0 litres TDI that makes light work of motorways and returns the fuel economy of 39mpg and also has the capability to race from 0-62mph in just 5.9 seconds, swift enough to mortify ample of hot hatches. The other Audi A5 diesel engine is a 2.7 TDI unit, it's only available with a seven speed automatic Multitronic transmission but still manages to be the largely cost-effective, averaging 44mpg and sprints from 0-62mph in 8.3 seconds.
