Shayton (falcon in the Sioux language) is the name of this Slovenian brand by parent company Provoco. The model is called the Equilibrium and it promises to be up there with the best. Yes, the likes of Pagani and Lamborghini. The Shayton Equilibrium was designed by Andrej Stanta and Dominik Cernelic and the intention was to create a perfect storm of a supercar. The Equilibrium will be made of a carbon-titanium chassis tacked onto a forged aluminum alloy suspension. Weight will also be kept down by means of the carbon-titanium wheels and carbon body panels. Total curb weight will be 1200 kg (2640 lbs). The specs on this not-yet-built car are big and ambitious. Power will come from a V12 of unspecified displacement with an output of 1084 bhp (1099 PS / 808 kW) and 930 Nm (686 lb-ft) of torque. Transmission will be a sequential gearbox. The press release isn’t specific on those two points beyond that. But the performance numbers Shayton is happy to supply. 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds, to 200 km/h (124 mph) the sprint from a standing start takes 8.9 seconds. Top speed is over 400 km/h (249 mph). Bremo carbo-ceramic brakes will help reign in those thousand plus horses while the aerodynamic design will put 750 kg of downforce on the car at 300 km/h (186 mph). Le Mans Story Saloon Car Race 1 BMW M3

BMW M3 E30 Group A of Jan Bot during the Le Mans Story 2011 race 1 for the Saloon Cars/ YTCC. Second on the grid behind the monstrous Chevrolet Monza (700hp), it just took off at the start, never to be seen again, allthough laptimes are not far apart(1-2 seconds). Start was not very good.. In the first chicane i felt the M3 and Renault where moving onto my line so i had nowhere to go but cut the last part of the chicane.. the renault passed me again, and i put him under pressure for the braking zone.. he tried to block me, braked late and spun on the curbs. The M3 of de Koster behind me could avoid him just as I could, but the Pastos M3 of Cuyvers had nowhere to go and smashed into him. Both where out, but the Renault was able to start race 2 on the back of the grid on sunday. After this incident I had a clear track in front, no pressure from behind and it seemed to be easy to finish 2nd. But.. after a couple of laps the water temperature rose and alarms where flashing on the dash.. it proved to be a nerve wrecking task to get the car to the end.. shortshifting and lifting at high speed to cool the engine. VW Volkswagen DSG Transmission Problem – Golf GTI mkV Edition 30

Ihr müsst genau hinhören bzw den Ton lauter machen um das Kratzgeräusch meines defekten Getriebes zu hören / You have to listen carfully respectively you may turn your volume up to hear the noise of my damaged gearbox ———————————————————————— Man kann es auf dem Video kaum hören – beim langsamen Anfahren macht das Getriebe ein klapperndes bzw rasselndes Geräusch… Es stellte sich heraus, dass das Rolllager, welches die Hauptwelle im Getriebe lagert defekt ist. Das Geräusch wurde schlimmer und schlimmer und würde sich mit der Zeit festfressen. Jetzt muss das DSG komplett getauscht werden nach nur 50000km und da ich seit 6 Monaten aus der Garantie bin, soll ich nun 2000€ für den Austausch bezahlen… Pech gehabt. UPDATE Als ich letzte Woche das Auto verkauft habe und meine Sachen aus dem Fahrzeug geräumt hab, fand ich im Handschuhfach die Anschlussgarantie zwischen dem VW Händler und mir. Bei meinem ersten Besuch bzgl dieses Problems wurde mir gesagt dass ich keine Garantie mehr hätte… BULLSHIT! Ich war einfach nur gestresst wegen der Sache und hörte nur “Austausch kostet 2000€” – ich habs einfach vergessen… Habe den Wagen immer zum selben Händler gebracht wo ich ihn auch gekauft habe… Aber davon wollten sie erstmal nix wissen. Was ist das bitte für ein Service? Ok, jetzt bekomme ich zwar das Geld zurück, aber der ganze Stress war umsonst…. Danke VW
